We went out to dinner and an open air Shakespeare at Guildford on the big day and we are going to go to the Globe to see another play, not Shakespeare, this time it is The God of Soho, which we are looking forward to.
The following weekend we had the family around and Sue cooked a roast beef dinner for them that included vegetables from the allotment and a wicked horseradish sauce that I make to a Mrs Beaton’s recipe.
