Guildford Shakespeare Company presents Much Ado About Nothing at the Guildford Castle
On Sue’s birthday this year we went into Guildford after work to eat and be merry. I had bought tickets to an open air production of Shakespeare and we originally intended to have a picnic, but the weather was looking dodgy so we went to Jamie Oliver’s Italian restaurant instead and had a fabulous meal. Then we walked up to the Guildford Castle grounds where a small crowd had gathered for the boutique performance arranged around the bandstand. The weather stayed fine and we had an added treat of watching a hot air balloon skimming the roof tops as it sailed majestically overhead.
