The Prudential Ride London cycle race runs
through the village several times on its way from/to London, and therefore the
roads are shut for the day. So, we took advantage of the ‘lock in’ and viewed
it from the local pubs a drink in hand as we marvelled and the energy and
fitness of the riders.
